Clean or Pellets

Recommended Posts

A group of us are considering a Devils Lake trip to fish perch primarily. No question the perch there are trophy size and plentiful. I would like to know if the perch are clean or do they have the 1/8" cream/yellow pellets in the fillets? Many times at Cass and Winnie I have caught perch with the pellets.

ND perch are the cleanest around. I have never seen a diseased perch in ND before.

i have not seen a cream/white worm in a devils lake perch yet. We've caught many over the years. If you do see one, cut it out, and eat 'er up. THey are better than the walleyes in my opinion.

Good luck!
