Have'nt read much on the forum lately. Wondering how the perch & walleye bite is.
Thinking of heading up right after x-mas.
Also are they driving on or useing 4 wheelers? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

Was out today at Black Tiger and we drove the truck out...12 to 14 inches in the bays and close to shore. Fishing was sparadic to say the least. we went in a group of 3 houses and we all kept setting up within 300 feet of each other when one house would do real good and the other 2 below average but not skunked. Mostly perch was our target today with an occasional walleye in the mix. If you plan on going out on the main lake for the deep fish use a 4 wheeler and periodicly check ice thickness cause it varys alot out there. Walleye is more of a dusk bite. In the trees is a good bet.
