JBMasterAngler Posted January 18, 2010 Share Posted January 18, 2010 If you don't stock walleyes in lakes they don't reproduce in (which is about the entire southern 1/3 of the state) then you remove alot of fishable water for the majority of the state's population. Not everyone can afford to go to mille lacs, or brainerd, or lake of the woods, etc. So they're just fine with fishing the metro area or mud bowl lakes down south. You most likely run the risk of less license sales, which won't help anything in the end. However, I do believe there are a handful of lakes that have no business being stocked with walleyes.
