CNY Tim
Guys - Jay is sending me the link to me for UHN1 plastic runner material. I am going to put that on instead of ski's this year should lighten it up a bit while protecting the runners from wear and tear...
Sniper07
Timmy let me know when you get it, I already put new ski's on for this season, but there's always next year. Plus it'll give me a chance to find out how you like them.
CNY Tim
I have a place bookmarked that will custom cut it for me. I just have to give em the dimensions and get a price. Jay you thinking 1/4" or 1/8" on the thickness?
Dark Cloud
Looks like 1/4 is the way to go so you can countersink the screws just a tad. Im thinking the width of the pre molded runner that is already there? So it will float up on snow better...

Dark Cloud
The stuff is called UHMW Plastic. Here is a tid-bit about it. "This Ultra High Molecular Weight (UHMW) Polyethylene bar has exceptionally high abrasion and impact resistance properties. It will outwear all other materials, including metals, nylons, urethanes, and fluoroplastics. In corrosion resistance, it has the same qualities of other polyethylenes. The working temp range is from -60 to 200 deg F. Because it resists wear, friction and corrosion, it cuts maintenance costs, energy consumption, and extends equipment life. Applications include guide rails, wear plates, rollers, conveyor augers, bin and hopper lines, chutes, bearings, bushings and gears. Its properties include: low coefficient of friction, self-lubrication, non-adherent surface, FDA and USDA concurrence for contact with foods, drugs, etc. Use mechanical fasteners in construction".Lots of places sell it. Im still searching around for where to buy.Sounds like wider is better to an extent. Wondering about weight. It acts like a snow-shoe and is slick... Dark Cloud
Supposedly it will bend enough to wrap around the front or you can warm it up with a hair dryer. I'll call you after 9...
Fishingking
I have a set of runners that are made to fit the Yukon but am sure they will fit others if anyone is interested I have no use for them.
CNY Tim
That's a nice offer king. Heck I still have the old/new bench seat from my original Custom Deluxe (Fish Trap Pro) if anyone needs a new bench for an old trap.
