REVO Toro Wiley sunglasses offer

I purchased a REVO Toro back in August and mailed in my Wiley sunglasses offer right away. I know the form stated it would take 8-10 weeks for shipment but every time I call customer service I get a different story. First they were back ordered, then 2 weeks later I was told the backorder arrived and I would have them within a week. I called back 2 weeks later and was told they were backordered again. Yesterday, I was told I needed to wait 8-10 weeks. I'm just wondering what others have gone through with this as it just feels like I am getting the run around.

Tell them that you want the Fenwick Techna AV that they were giving away with the purchase of a Toro at the Muskie show...

I hate rebates! when I actually remember to send them in, things like this always seem to happen...

Sounds like the rebate on the glasses is too good to be true, just like the reel! <oh snap!>

Thats cold redig, I sent mine in right after the expo and I still havent got the dam shades yet... My reel stinks and I dont get my friggin sunglasses... what [PoorWordUsage]

I sent in and got the Glasses right away, nice too........ they have lasted longer then the reel did !

Got the glasses about 3 weeks, after sending for them. Glasses work, Toro's work.

It's been 6 weeks for me, haven't seen the glasses yet, although they did cash my check a couple weeks ago so hopefully they'll be on the way soon. Thankfully the Toro is still working as expected

I got mine in 3 weeks after mailing in the rebate. My roommate sent his in the same day and still hasn't received his. go figure. my toro broke and he sold his so i'm not sure who got the better end of the deal.

I understand that the TORO isnt bulletproof, (Even though thats pretty much what the rep said... I just liked the deal) its just when you pay nearly 300 for a reel you expect to get at least one season out of it.
