Where do the Vikings have to improve the most?

Pass protection is clearly a problem. Favre was knocked down, hurried, or sacked WAY TOO MANY TIMES! I can't remember the stat, but it's something like 7 out of 10 times so far this season. That's atrocious!

I have been very critical of our coach's play calling, but I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised by the coaching this week. Especially with the game on the line at the end. AP wasn't doing his thing, so give Favre and our receiving corps a shot! Good job Chilly! (can't believe I've said it!)

1. Coaching (Now we have a QB that masks this issue)

2. O-Line (Brett won't last through 16 games of sloberknockin)

3. Receivers (CATCH THE DANG BALL BERRIAN)

4. Special teams (always finding a way to give points away)

5. Secondary (haven't really been tested yet)

I don't know. Did you see Vernon Davis owning our secondary last game? I think we are lucky they didn't go to him more often than they did. He scored 2 of their 3 tds.

I voted for o-line. Brett is getting hit a lot more than the average starting QB in the league.

O-line becasue every team is out for blood on brett. we need to protect him better.

Secondly is coaching, which improved this last game but still left somethign to be desired. Close game, its time to swing for the fences once and awhile to catch the D off guard. we are slowly expanding from last years offense of run run 3yrd pass. run,run,3yd pass. run, run, 3yd pass.

I'd like to see some trickery put in. half back pass, kick an onside after a touchdown like percy's kickoff return. get that momentum shifting even farther. (im gonna catch flack for that idea i bet)

I don't know man, the o-line is worrisome and that blocked field goal reminds me so much of last season. The O-line on the right is young and still learning to work together and there is no excuse for the special teams let-down. They came through a crease between the left guard and tackle. That should have beenn sealed.

I think the O-line will just take time. Im more worried about the pass defense. Its the same story year after year they have problems covering a big WR or a TE. If the niners would of had a top notch QB or just had Gore back that game could of been out of our hands. I think there O line is good enough to do the job but they wont go anywhere with there pass defense

I think that a flee flicker would work awesome once AP got the ground game going. Starts ripping off gains of 5-9 yds at a time, and then throw a flee flicker in there. Deep down to Harvin, who would be wide open!!! T O U C H D O W N!!!!!

I also voted for the O line, cause they suck! Sullivan needs to step it up, cause right now he isn't half of what Birk was. Ever notice how slow his snaps seem when Favre is in the shotgun? Seems like slow motion and barely makes it to Brett.

The o-line needs to get it together. Part of that is the coaching staff using a zone blocking scheme. Our personnel is more in the mold of a power running team. Straight forward hat on hat. We've got beef up front and we need to use it.
