drink holders wheelhouse

I am going to be putting some drink holders in my wheelhouse and I was wondering what suggestions people might have on this. I did some looking on the net and there must be 100's of different holders and I am more confused than ever. I don't mind paying for something that works and lasts.

My buddy uses velcro. He has can coolers just for the shack that have velcro on them. Then various places on the wall are the other half to stick to. Sounds dumb but works great!

The idea came to us one night out on Red (had nowhere to set a beer, but had some velcro and cuzies)

I got as a gift some that open up and fold down that have an adjustable radius. These are very nice. They fold up making it easier to drill holes. They mount with 2 screws.Do not use velcro!

You can find similar fold out ones at GM and Wally World for under $7 and work great.

I have some like that in my wheel house, not quite that nice though. I got mine on sale for around five dollars each. I have seen them on a popular auction HSOforum for about six dollars each. They are nice because they fold up when not in use. I have one by every hole!

I bought some cheap ones at GM.

They looked like a Mug buoy only plastic.

They had a nice velcro strap for mounting on the 4 wheeler.

They didn't last long.

Don't go cheap.

I have a Liquid Caddy, I bought it at Gander, and it has about 5 different ways it can be mounted, and can be mounted almost anywhere. I think they have a HSOforum

drink holders.....you mean you put your drink down???

I agree with you Ryan, I use one hand or the other.

But I do take the drink holders out of the boat and put in the house. they work really good!

You can hold a drink and reel in fish at the same time? Or are you saying you don't catch any fish???

The was looking at the fold up ones but everything I looked at seemed very cheaply make. have to check out the ones CK posted.

It's holding a can, how strong do they have to be...

I've had the cheap ones in my boat for 10 years and haven't broken one yet.

Check out the ones you put onto a Foosball table, they aren't too expensive at $10 a piece. The ones I put on my table are plastic and they lasted all through college, if that's any indication of quality for ya . You can get really nice looking metal ones, but they are spendy.

I put some of the cheap plastic fold up ones in my wheelhouse and have broken them more than once. when you walk buy and bump them they snap right off. Also with the commotion of bringing in a nice fish they tend to get bumped and hit as well. Spend the extra money and get a little nicer one.

I've got the cheap plastic ones from WalMart that they sell in the auto section. I just cut off the lip for hanging it on your car window and screwed it straight into the wall. They were only a buck or two and haven't broken yet, and it's certainly not from a lack of use.
