Gold jigs

I am planning a trip to Lake of the Woods in three weeks and am in need of some gold jigs. I am looking for short shank jigs in particular, but will look at any style. Any help would be great.

i as well will be heading up to lake of the woods ..where you staying at? i believe u can find gold jigs in bulk at gander or scheels and may get lucky and find some packaged ones at mill's..otherwise they have plenty at the log cabin bait shop up there

Also check Cabelas, and a host of small baitshops.

Northland has them in all weights, short shank and with the clip on the back to add the trailer hook, which I highly recommend.

Cabela's and Gander sell them in bulk.

There is a bait shop in Keliher that stocks a good assortment of gold jigs that are different from the big box stores that work great on LOTW.

Best buy that I've found is the Cabelas catalog - bulk and by the weight you want. Spotty luck at the bait shops on the way up. When I used to go one guy would always make sure he was shotgun and would run in and scoop them all up before anyone else had a chance. For some reason the gold jigs were always magic at LOW and in Canada.

Gander will have Gold Northland Jigs and in bulk, and in pre-packs.
