no clue on the kraken but I love Super Shads. I've honestly never caught a fish on the one Super Shad I own, which is beat up as all he||, but it has seen some action, I reccomend sharpening the hooks. And a good percentage of the fish I have seen on that bait have been a good 5 to 6 feet behind the bait until I have made the first turn of my 8, which could explain why I haven't boated a fish on it yet- my 8's lack enthusiasm when there isn't a visible follow, unless it's after dark. (and a super shad isn't really a go-to night bait for me.) Oh well, love the bait. Long pulls with long slow wobbling rises.

WHich color Shad

IMO the ''shad'' color. not the photo-copy spitooties either. oliveish/blue top, pearl white sides and a flo. orange bottom. Rapala just came out with it again after discontinuing it for several years. i went to auction sites and paid up to 40 bucks a pop for these after they stopped making them and i ran out. if that gives you an idea of what i think of them. i bought 10 of the new ones and still have 4 from the auctions. the new ones have a little more gloss, but i'll live with some sanding. they used to be called tennesee shad. can't seem to find a new one in a package. never did read it.
