looking at buying one of these wheelers wanted to hear any pro's or con's anyone might have?

IMO, the reliability of the Polaris brand has improved greatly over the years. The SP500 will offer you the best bang for the buck out of the majority of the brands out there.

It's been around for a long time and is probably the most reliable Polaris, as well as the best selling. Good power, really smooth ride ride, tons of accessories through Polaris that attach in seconds, and are a great value this time of year. I'm sure you're aware of the pricing, but I've seen them for under $5,000 for a carb version, and a few hundred more for the EFI this time of year. Only cons I can think of are that you can't have the low beams and handlebar pod light on at the same time, and it's a really heavy machine. That said, for the price, there are no other options that come close, IMO.

The 500 Sportsmans are great machines. I would recommend getting one with EFI if your budget allows. One major drawback is that in 2009 they took the recoil starter off the 500s. Now, if you want the recoil start you have to buy it as an accessory.
