This years ice fishing wish list

At the end of every ice fishing season I already have a list of items I want for the next year, then I add on to the list as the summer goes by. I have already got a few of them, but I always want more!

Some of the items I had on my list was:

A couple new reels to replace old ones.

A few more poles

Reload my tackle box, with all of the new have to haves, and replace lost lures

Repair my trailer to haul portable ice house, new tires, ect..

An IceGator auger *

A Humminbird Ice 55 *

Get an additional portable ice house *

Sell and update my permanent ice house

A 4 wheeler to pull my house on the ice

* = Things I have already got!

The list could go on and on. I have got my new IceGator auger, my new Bird Ice 55, and a used portable Otter fish house. Most years my list doesn't get shorter, this season I have knocked off a few items, and I am starting to get excited to use them.

What does some of your lists look like, and have you been able to knock off any items this off season?

AA has been on my list for three years now; still up in the air if I get it or not. I have gained some weight so I might have already saved myself money wink. I want some Beaver Dam tip ups, my plastic ones have never caught a fish although I have only given them about a half dozen tries. Plus I would like to support some guys who live just down the road from myself. Transportation will be on my list for several years to come. I think getting some time away from baby duties will be the most difficult for me this winter. However the fish will always be there (hopefully).

Strikemaster Auger - borrowing my dad's every time isn't going to work now that I've moved further away and hand augers are for the birds come January!

Couple new rods and reels, I've got quite a few Cabela's points racked up and I've heard good things about JM Meat Sticks grin

Buddy heater and LEDs for my porty, the LP lantern doesn't throw out a lot of heat

I bought a lot of gear last year so I think I'm mostly set for the year. I think I might buy a new auger, the 20 yr old Jiffy is getting a little rough so I think an IceGator would be a good replacement. Other than that, it will just be the typical tackle and rods.
