Question about my Polaris

Recommended Posts

I did notice something yesterday when riding, I had the fuel guage (electronic dash) start blinking. Yes there is plenty of fuel in there, nothing in my book about a warning, except for being low on fuel, like I said that is not the issue.

Just wondering if anyone has seen this on their's?

I was possibly thinking a bad ground or a sensor in the tank, what do you think?

This is a 2008 Sportsman 500

Dig around in the tank with a light and a coat hanger and make sure the float is actually floating. Sometimes they can get tangled around the fuel lines in the tank. If it is the sending unit that is bad you have to buy it as a complete assembly with the fuel pump and tank and all. I think its around $436.79 for that unit.
