""Treatise of Fishing with an Angle""

Recommended Posts

Guest

The first publication in the English language on angling was first brought to light in the year 1496, by a nun Dame Juliana Berners.

In the recent In-Fisherman a article entitled "The Great she" the story of this early publication came to my attention. Finding it intriguing I did some looking and I was pleased to have found its text on line with most of the original illustrations.

Very interesting reading and it is remarkable how old truths are still thought of as new theory's today.

Well worth the read.
