mrjigger
I am probably going to use luan plywood for the inside of my new ice castle. My house is going to be wrapped in tyvek. I have been reading some past posts about guys painting both sides of the luan. Is this really necessary when using luan? Also I plan on keeping the luan up off the floor a few inches so the ends don't suck up water. Then using a wider trim around the floor. Also I plan on painting the luan on the inside white for lighting purposes.
jerkbait
I had luan in my fish house before I remolded it. Never had an issue at all with moisture. Mine was left unfinished on both sides. I had it that way for about five years then I swithced over to knotty pine T&G.
