North or South..which way to go?

I'm planning on chasing some trout this weekend...but not sure which direction to drive. I'm in the cities. I love the scenery and hiking on the north shore..but I love catching those big southern trout. Anyone been out fishing the whitewater area lately...how about a report? Or norht shore...anyone? Help...I'm torn.

If you wanna catch, especially anything with size and numbers definitely head South!
Scenery down here is nothing to balk at!

Might want to go a little further South!!!
