As we are about a week away....What food makes your trip to the fair complete?

Me....

A fresh blueberry milkshake from the dairy barn

A pronto pup w/mustard

a beer from the Leinie Lodge and a hot dog

French fries

Let the eating begin!!!!

Do they still have the alligator place? I haven't been in several years but I used to love getting the deep fried alligator with hush puppies.

If you're in the mood for some alligator burgers, we just started serving them at my bar. Email me at jeff lynch 55 at yahoo dot com if you wanna stop by sometime. If I'm working, I'll definitely work out some special booze pricing for fmers. Sorry, only 3.2, we don't have our liquor license yet. frown

I'm also a sucker for a bucket of sweet marthas and the all you can drink milk booth. Not the greatest cookies but a great treat on a nice fair day.

I always get a milkshake from that church booth by the technology building. Seems to settle everything down!

Seems like we always get the loaded baked potatoes or the australian potatoes both are super yummy!

To me the cheese curds in the food building are overrated, definitely check out the stand on the far north end of the fair. Awesome cheese curds and cheese sticks, if I remember right it's a red place right on the corner
