I'm starting to plan a trip 4 next year for 4 guys. Have fished open water in canada b4 but never on ice. Would like to know of some lakes in MN that would be productive 4 lakers through ice, best time of season,etc. Basically any info would be apprieciated. I've got time to make plans.

You may want to check the BWCA forum.

Those boyz in there know what their talking about when it comes to lakers.

Some lake in the BWCA with great Lake trout fishing, that I know of are, Knife Lake and Saganaga Lake.
