fishduckdog
I'm suppose to visit my daughter, who lives near Duluth, and was thinking of trying the lake for trout or salmon, through the ice. I have never done this on Superior before and was wondering if it's something worth trying. Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated. Thanks
Renneberg
I don't even know if they have been able to get out on the lake this year. Check the BWCA forum.http://fishingminnesota.com/cgi-bin/forums/forumdisplay.cgi?action=topics&forum=BWCA-Duluth-Ely+Area&number=4&DaysPrune=60 ------------------"Study to be quiet"
Xplorer
No stable ice around duluth that i know of (tho at -21 this morning you'd think that there would be!). Probably the closest fishable ice is in Chequamegon bay, @1hour east of superior. The only place that might have some ice is the marina at knife river, but havnt heard anything there. I would say check with marine general 800-777-8557 for sure.Xplorer
