This past weekend my girlfriend and I decided to take the Munger Trail from Duluth to Carlton and back on our rollerblades. We had a really good time doing it and set a goal that we will go the entire trail from Duluth to Hinckley one day towards the end of August, so we are just in the beginning stages of getting ready for our trek. My question is this, are there many places you can fill up with water on the trail? I know you can in Carlton, and I'm hoping you can on other areas of the trail, otherwise our trip might get a little more difficult. Thanks for the help!

GottaGo I think that you would have no problem with water all the way down to Moose Lake but beyond that I am not sure. When you leave Carlton the next town would be Aitkenson and by the trail it is maybe 5 miles and the next town would be Mahtowa then Barnum and then Moose Lake. I have only been on it by bike but it is not as scenic as Carlton to Duluth and there is more open country so if it is windy it will be a factor. If you look at a map it follows the old highway 61 for most of the way or close to it.
