WIFisher
The Curado left handed version is 301. I also have a Pflueger Trion 66L which i took apart and removed the clicker from and now i think its an excellent reel. The clicker got annoying but that was resolved quickly. Anyone else have experience with the Trion 66? I have always used baitcasters in the left hand version even though im right handed. I think it makes more sense if the left and right were flipped on the baitcasters..Ryan
TheHawgTrough
Are the Luna 300 or Calcutta 400TE large enough to handle the double 10'd or 13's? Looking to upgrade some equipment this summer. At 25 inches per turn, I am thinking I might need something a bit larger. Have heard good things about the Torium's, but have never used a reel without levelwind... I wouldn't get either (luna or TE) if blades are one of the intended heavy uses. I watched some guys earlier this year burning DCG's with 400TE's, they sure were working hard and the baits weren't moving that fast. The levelwind thing isn't a big deal, you get use to it, but why not just buy a saltist that does the same thing and has a levelwind for a similar price?
