Code-Man
Well I don't know how to put pictures on here but I finally got my buck from last fall back. Got the call yesterday morning and by dark I had him in the car heading for home. Still working on taking a good picture but thought he did a great job on it. I took it to Leonard's Taxadermy in Detroit Lakes. It was my first buck taken with a bow. Had an official measure him and he gross scored 124 1/8 and final score was 121 4/8 Not badClose up of buckhttp://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=53366682&l=15138b9e40&id=13950794Misc pictures of himhttp://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2585309&id=13950794&l=5c36292990

Code-Man
I just put him on the wall last night and took some more pictures. So the link is updated. It wasn't my first bow kill but first buck with a bow. I had a doe 2nd weekend at 12 yards in a soybean field that was pushing her luck and 3rd time she came out to check out my ground blind wasn't her lucky number. bmc
NICE buck! That's a heck of a nice 8ptr and your 1st buck with a bow.....AWESOME! For some great pics of your buck, take it outside and hang it on a fence post or a tree in the yard, nothing like outdoor light to really capture a great pic of a mount.Brian
Code-Man
I'm hoping to get it out to the tree where I shot it from later this summer. I couldn't complain for it was a 9 yd shot. Biggest buck I've seen within an ethical distance and made my year. Now I gotta shoot bigger or in velvet
