I had worked for the lodge a few year back, and this year, my bro and I just came up on a swap deal, free lodging, fishing, food, and flight from anchorage to the lodge, in trade for a couple weeks work on there lodge doing construction and finish work.

So basically all I had into was the price of my flight from MSP to anchorage, which was about $450 and a fishing license and some little misc. stuff. It was a great deal, its good to know people and use the motto, work hard play harder.

Well Heading up again this year. Again it happens to be on a wednesday. This time taking my Fiancee with for two weeks. Working, fishing, and hiking will be most of the trip. Looking forward to it, can't believe it came this fast already!
