larryz
Do I have to wait any length of time after putting down lime before putting on fertilizer? Thanks
Powerstroke
Nope. Typically you can apply them at the same time except that you will need different spreader settings since the lime is usually a smaller granule. If you want to apply them separate do the lime first and wait until the lime has been watered in.
lindy rig
Does lime help with yellow spots from dog pee? Does it work to help heal and recover the dead spots or is it preventative?
Powerstroke
Lime helps with acidic soils. It can help adjust the PH a little which makes the fertilizer more readily available to the plants.

I have read where pelletized gypsum is what you use for that problem. Might just be little balls of hydrated lime for all I know but I used the gypsum. Powerstroke
I know people who use the gypsum too. I haven't seen it work first hand so I can't tell you how it works for dog spots
