Hello everyone! It has been a great year of fishing so far and many beautiful fish are being caught everyday. In Minnesota working rock reefs and points in the morning and evening hours and then moving to deeper areas off of structure during mid day has been best. Gravel bars, humps and deep mud areas have all been producing fish as well. The Best depth has been 13-20 feet in the mornings and evenings and 20-30 during mid day. The best tactic has been using a jigging rod with a lindy flyer, buckshot, rippin rap, charmer or flutter spoon tipped with a minnow head or tail. Live minn

Thought I'd start a thread aimed at sharing rooster reports this season. Here's mine: Been out 3-4 times. Bagged 5 birds, including a solo limit. I hunt public land in Central Mn. Seeing equal numbers of hens and roosters....not as many hunters as I expected....so far. Also, quite dry in most places I've hunted so far. Might be a while before I get out again thanks to kids sports and deer season. How are you doing?
