  6. Selling my 8 x 12 ice house. 4 holes, 4 rattle reel, 2 gas lights, duo flame heater, rope lighting. Two beds and a cot. New white oak ski's in 2007 and new roof in 2009. Vinyl siding. Great house, only selling because I'm building a new one. It is stored at Fisherman Wharf in Isle. Asking 1000. Will send pics if interested. Email me [email protected] for info.
  7. For a 8 x 20 permanent house, what size ski would you use? Would 6 x 6 x 5/16 be overkill or just about right? Thanks
  8. Fished Balsam Sat and Sun. Found 9 to 10 inches of ice everywhere I went. I guess a car went thru in the narrows last week so there is still open water there. Fishing was slow, not much to report there a few small perch and crappies. Got a bunch of snow sat night and was very windy on sun.
  9. Thanks for the reply, planned on walking out, so that sounds good. Will report when I get back.
  10. I bought a Mako 10" about 5 years ago and have had zero issues. I would highly recomend one. Great auger for the price.
  11. +1 on the hockey tape. Thought I was the only one...
  12. Can't say I ever seen anyone use one for ice fishing...wrong forum maybe??
  13. I've had a 10" Mako for 3 years now, and I can't say enough good things about it. Cuts fast and light weight. One of the best augers I've ever owned.
