  1. Been involved with Troop 66 for about 12 years. last son just finished up, but I'd be willing to pass on information to the rest of the troop and leaders. Email is [email protected]
  2. I live in Decorah, Iowa. If it swims I like to catch it. I coach football and manage the athletic facilities at Luther College. I Fly fish here in Iowa for trout. Teach a college credit Fly Fishing class in the spring. Spend a lot of time on the Miss. fishing for everything from panfish to pike. Love to go to the BWCA. Spend a week every year fishing muskies on Man Lake. Also spend a lot of time hunting deer and pheasants.
  3. Willie: That would be a great option for me as I only live about an hour east of Leroy. If you don't mind my asking, how much did that pup set you back. Having a realistic price will help when I meet with the family comptroller. She doesn't like surprises very much. Thanks for your help.
  4. Any body out there have a Brittany breeder they would endorse. Looking to get a new pup sometime in the next 9 months.
  5. simplefish: I live in Decorah and may be able to give you some ideas of how to get started fishing the River. If you want you can shoot me an email and I'll do what I can. [email protected]

Yep. Been their as well. A couple of years ago while musky fishing my oldest son proceeded to stick me with two hooks of a bucktail treble in the back of the shoulder while letting a cast loose. It stung a bit when it went in. Went to the Walker Clinic to get it removed. They had a board there where they mounted all of the hooks taken out that year. Now I have a nice snake bite looking scare where the hook once hung. Be careful out there.
  7. Dan: You'll be in my families daily prayers. Take comfort in ICor. 10:13
  8. Bow hunting for deer and pheasant hunting.

Sott: When fishing those bluegills in deep water are you using a floating bobber, spring bobber of some sort or just feeling the bite with the rod?
