    Summer Ice Auger

I add Sta-bil to the tank and run it for a while, then drain the tank and run until it quits. Then I fog the carb and the cylinder and pull the cord a few times. I then grease the blades, and store upright in a cool, dry place.

    Auger Protection

Otter does make a product like that, it is called the Otter Ice Shield. It covers the auger but not the power head.

    Head Lamps (lights)

I have a Princeton Aurora and love it. I have had it for two seasons and am still on the original batteries. The multiple settings are really nice to have. It is bright enough to use while walking around, yet you can dim it when you just need a little light inside the shack.

    Suit-Case Style Fish House?

I have the Clam 2000 and it is a great little shelter. It is a good size for two people, but it is small enough that one person can use it with ease. It is very easy to set up, and takes less then a minute to do so. I solved the problem of hauling stuff out onto the ice by making sides that sit on top of the sled out of plywood. This way you can haul everything out onto the ice with ease, and the sides collapse flat for easy storage.

    Glow Devils

Which size glow devil, between 1/16 and 1/8 oz., should I get for crappies? I have heard people have had success on the 1/8 oz., but now that the 1/16 oz. is available would that be better? For walleyes which should I get first some angel eye jrs. or some bigger sized glow devil? Thanks, J. Hall
