    WAAS enabled really needed?

and we should ALL be thankful for such devices. wheter its accurate to 3 feet or 30 feet. it sure beats drillin a hundred holes, or trying to line up between 2 points on opposite shores of a lake and say "yup this should be the spot"
  2. yeah that last layer can be a pain. I never used a power auger much till this year. got a 10" strikemaster and one time the last layer it almost twisted the auger right out of my hands scred the crapp outta me, second time the ice was thinner than I thought and I almost fell right on top and it went thru and into the water pulled right over lol. Now I really plant my feet and hold on tight let er buck!

What irritates you most on ice?

yeah how about someone askin to borrow your camera and end up watching it bounce 3 times across a 14 foot perm and end up dead center nothing but net in the hole and u get to watch the lil orange light flash all the way to the bottom. GRRR, WIND is also quite the enemy. I just get reallllly annoyed by loud obnoxious rude poeple on the lake when im trying to have some fun and relax, get out of the busy loud workplace and have some peace and quietttt lol. Ill vent more after the next trip to see what else will annoy me.

    WAAS enabled really needed?

thanks shackbash. I should try that. I should mark some structure on a lake and fish it, if successful I will mark it with a small cone or object, and come back the next day and type in the coordinates and see how close it gets me, or even do it at my house for that matter. I really dont think anyone NEEDS to be within 5 feet of where they were last but within 20 feet ya drill some holes and thats darn good enough for most people. chances are if you find a good spot, save it and the depth you were at, and you are within 10 yards, and at the same depth I bet 5 times to 1 you will still catch fish...

    WAAS enabled really needed?

Well I have the XOG as well with no WAAS enabled. I have not used it yet on the water, but I have a 30 foot long driveway and as im walking I can see it move. Is taht not accurate? or are you saying the position I am in and moving is not accurate on the map? Im confused. When I drive out on a lake with the lakemaster chip and I see a ridge below me and I get out and drill should I not be right on the ridge I see on the map? I love mine so far.

    99 VW Passat OBD Plud-In?

P1300....MISFIRE DETECTED ON ONE OR MORE CYLINDERS ALSO POSSIBLE LOW FUEL ISSUE. MAKE SURE THERE IS GOOD AMOUNT OF GAS AND REPLACE THE COIL AND TRY IT AGAIN. SHOULD WORK ACCORDING TO ALLDATA AND MY VW TECHNICIANS.

What irritates you most on ice?

I guess it would be the slip bobber freezng up in the hole, the line turning into a slinky, TRASH on teh lakes including the TRASH that leave it there, and the guys who are pulling a bunch of screaming kids with a 4 wheeler all over the ice 20 feet from the house while we are trying to enjoy fishing and a little relaxation. Disrespectful. and of course there is the ALWAYS upsetting issue of not catching fish lol
  8. Happen to find this and wanted to share for all of you have not seen it or always wondered about it. Pressure Trend Typical Weather Fishing Trends Suggested Tactics High Clear skies Fish slow down, find cover or go to deeper waters. Slow down lures and use baits more attractive to fish. Fish in cover and in deeper waters. Rising Clearing or improving Fish tend to become slightly more active Fish with brighter lures and near cover. Also fish at intermediate and deeper depths. Normal and stable Fair Normal fishing Experiment with your favorite baits and lures. Falling Degrading Most active fishing Speed up lures. Surface and shallow running lures may work well. Slightly lower Usually cloudy Many fish will head away from cover and seek shallower waters. Some fish will become more aggressive. Use shallow running lures at a moderate speed. Low Rainy and stormy Fish will tend to become less active the longer this period remains. As the action subsides, try fishing at deeper depths.

sound like if the idle goes up and down it could be an idle control valve. but i would still replace the coil and see what happens first.
