  1. I'm heading to Ontario in 2 weeks - what can I expect the duty to be on case of beer #2? I generally only bring my allowance and buy more in Canada. However, my fishing buddy is telling me it's cheaper to bring everything across and pay the duty. I'm not convinced so I'm looking to see what people are "really" paying. --Tim
  2. Quote: In the meantime if you own a nice boat take care of it and keep it's appearence up. Heck, I figure I'll be able to sell my boat in a few years for what I PAID for it! LOL - you can use that as justification to the boss as to why you need a new boat.
  3. oh yeah! done that a couple of times. Did it the first time I had my boat out and the water was 45 degrees. Man my arm was cold reaching down under the motor to screw the plug in
  4. Slotlimit - I noticed the price of aluminum boats has dramatically increased as well. A couple years ago I was at the boat show and jumped in that years('06 I think) of Crestliner SF (I have an '02). I wanted to see what had changed over the past 3 years. Well, the boat hadn't changed much but the price sure did. It was up $7-8k from what I paid in '02. The sales guy told me it was due to an increase in production costs which was due to an increase in the cost of petroleum. In my ignorant mind it makes sense but I'm not sure if it's true. I also noticed that the price of glass boats did not increase as dramatically. Something to think about I guess. --Tim
  5. Lakeville GM has this going on too.
  6. Thanks for the feedback. I bought mine in '02 and went with the F115 for the same reasons you did. I just pulled the trigger on a once-run Turbo 13 1/4 x 17p at a really good price. I'll let you know how it works out.

Quote: no, I think it is my fault. I performed the annual "running of the Deere" a little too early! I knew somebody did once the snow started. It took everything I had not to turn the key because I didn't want to put the bad voodoo on the weather.
  8. Anybody out there running an 1850 Sportfish with a F115? I'm looking for your experience with SS props on this set-up. I have an email out to Soderbloom's but I'm hoping somebody in this forum has first had experience. Thanks
  9. Catcherman - did you take these pictures? Eitherway, thanks for sharing.
  10. Quote: Hey good one tgff009!!! And here I thought that I was the only one who watched that movie. basscatcher - be honest here, did you cry during the movie?
  11. strange brew. "When you pull on that jersey you represent yourself and your teammates. And the name on the front is a hell of a lot more important than the one on the back."
  12. Quote: This might not be an all too common one, but kudos to the one who guesses it! "Keep digging! You can hit him later!"......."Yeah, you can hit me later"........"And I'll remind ya" (think Irish accents) Is it "Paint Your Wagon" - A Clint Eastwood musical? Next: "Hi, I'm Melissa Robinson." "Pleasure to meet you." "Did you have any trouble getting in?" "No, the guy with the rubber glove was surprisingly gentle
  13. Hey Steve - I bet there is about 20 people that have that new custom built rod as there favorite after Saturday's class
  14. I have been using Sandisc in all my devices(cameras, phones, gps) for years with no issues. Maybe you got your hands on a bad card - which can happen with every brand.

    Minnesota Wild

I would like to see the Wild put a spankin' on the Wings in the first round. Send Hockeytown crying to their mama's. By the looks of it, that won't happen so maybe we will get them in the 2nd round
