  1. Look at the previous posts under Nipigon. I haven't tried any other lakes in the area but think Nipigon can't be beat. Milton
  2. I'm heading to Nipigon 2nd week of June to fish Lakers, Walleye and Brookies. Have fished the lake 3 years in a row but it has been about 8 years since I've been there. I can't wait to go. In the past, we had a charter take us out but this time, we are doing it ourselves out of a small resort on the east side called Onaman River Resort. They have a HSOforum if you want to check it out. Huge lake. Be careful. Last trip, our largest laker was 32 lbs. Brookies were hard for us to find. Only caught a few. I have fished lakers for 20 years and this is by far the most exciting because at any time, you know you can hook into a trophy. I've fished lakes with alot more action but would take Nipigon hands down. Milton
  3. Thanks for the info on Walleye opener. I knew it was late but wasn't sure of the exact date. They changed it since I was there I think. Milton
  4. My e-mail address is : [email protected] If you e-mail me with your phone #, I will get back to you. Milton
  5. I have fished Lake Nipigon 3 or 4 times but it has been about 8 years since I have been there. In the past, I went with an outfitter and stayed on his boat. This year, I am interested in going up in early june to fish for Brook Trout, Lake Trout and Walleye. I will have an 18' Lund Fisherman with a 150HP and bow mount trolling motor and kicker. I would welcome any advice on where to stay. Renting a cabin at a resort OR setting up camp on an island are options I would consider. Any experience??? Thanks, Milton
  6. Price reduced to $ 650.00. I need to move this trailer. It is in very good condition. Pix available to e-mail. Milton
