DonBo
Just saw this yesterday. A Disney outdoor film. Great footage of wildlife around the world along with the changing seasons.Really enjoyed it except they had to use it as a forum for the global warming issue. I was very disapointed by that.Anyone else see it, and what did you think?
zamboni
I think I will wait until the Blu Ray comes out- looks like the kind of movie Blu Ray was made for.
DTro
I was afraid of that DonBo, looks like great scenery and a good one to see at an IMAX or something, but it's tough sitting through a lecture (if you know what I mean).
DonBo
Would have been awesome on IMAX but we looked and looked and saw no sign of it.Don't get me wrong, it was not a lecture at all, in fact the GW thing was very subtle, more background than anything. I still highly recommend it to any outdoorsmen. My wife absolutely loved it.
jwhjr
I took my oldest daughter to it last Friday. I recognized most of the scenes from the Planet Earth documentary that was on Discovery. They did tell a good story for kids though as far as following the changes etc.
jbell1981
I plan on taking my kids to see it. They have really enjoyed watching the planet earth series with me, so I thought this would be fun for them. Any reason not to take a 7, 5 and 4 year old to see it? DonBo
No reason at all, they'll all enjoy it.
CodyDawg
it was good other than the global warming baloney. My 5 year old loved it.
Chef
Took the kid's to see this past Sunday (rainy days perfect for a movie). It was really well done and considering how much global warming hype there is out there today, they really did dial it back to acceptable. They didn't point any blame for it, they just mentioned how it is changing the arctic regions.
jwhjr
I agree, no reason not take them. They pretty much cut off anything before it gets "scary" for a younger child.
Sandmannd
I was hoping this would be a good movie and get good reviews. I would love to see it with my kids. Figured it woudl have GW stuff in it, glad to know it didn't get too overboard.
