Shiner Pen

Anyone know where a guy can purchase a good live bait pen to keep shiners in. I've looked online but can't find anything in our region, or that I really like. Thanks in advance.

we have used old drier drums over the years to keep bait in. you could use a minnow trap too

Whatever you keep them in, they need a sheltered area away from wave action and silt washing around in the pen. A 5 gallon bucket drilled full of holes with the cover snapped back on works well if you can drop it into deep enough water.

Fisherdog when I get home tomorrow I will take a picture of what I have. I really like it. Its about 7 feet tall, 6 feet long and 2 feet wide

what i use is an homemade box that is 50"x30x30 covered in 1/4" mesh and it has a hinged top work good for me till round july 4th then they all die.. then i put them in a 200 gallon chest freezer

try a 55 gallon barrel drill holes in it. attach it to a auger ended 7ft fench post and screw it in.
