Dock Bumpers

Recommended Posts

What do you guys/gals use for dock bumpers on your boat? I'm talking the white tubular type or one of those square kind. Either way, the ones that attach to your boat, not the dock. Something that will work well but won't take up a ton of room on the boat. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Mike

I use 3 of the flat ones...sometimes 2 one in the bow and one in the stern is enough if its not too windy.

The flat ones can store easily in a livewell or other storage compartment much easier than the tubes.

I use something called the Hull Hugg'r. It is one of those flat ones. It actually consists of 3-4 rectangular pads separated by like 9 inches between them. Hung with rope on the cleats, it stretches a good 6+ feet to protect the side of the boat. When not in use, it folds and stores in a relatively small area. It can be bought at the big "C" store and come in different lengths and widths for different size boats.
