Fires in Oklahoma

3 posts in this topic

The new program just showed video of an area in OK that was hit hard by fire. It was a typical rectanular block city area.

How can that burn to this extent? There didn't seem to be heavy woods - just a typical city area. Anyone out there know how this could happen? It would seem that you could protect your house from this with just a standard garden hose. I can see it happening in the mountains or something but this area looked as flat as that one girl in 12th grade. (won't use her name.)

My yard and all those around me are drier than a popcorn fart. I could easily see how a fire could spread fast right now.
