Leaddog
My take on dog names from a musher with many dogs who sometimes needs them to understand that following commands can be critical. I like two or three syllable names that shorten nicely to single, distinguishable name. For instance, Deralict shortens to Dare. I use the short name when all is well and fun. The full name is used when disciplining or when I absolutely need that dog to pay attention. Despite many dogs, they each know their names, both of them. This works very well.
