Members Only Fluid Forum View   08/08/2017

Fluid forum view allows members only to get right to the meat of this community; the topics. You can toggle between your preferred forum view just below to the left on the main forum entrance. You will see three icons. Try them out and see what you prefer.   Fluid view allows you, if you are a signed up member, to see the newest topic posts in either all forums (select none or all) or in just your favorite forums (select the ones you want to see when you come to Fishing Minnesota). It keeps and in real time with respect to Topic posts and lets YOU SELECT YOUR FAVORITE FORUMS. It can make things fun and easy. This is especially true for less experienced visitors raised on social media. If you, as a members want more specific topics, you can even select a single forum to view. Let us take a look at fluid view in action. We will then break it down and explain how it works in more detail.   The video shows the topic list and the forum filter box. As you can see, it is easy to change the topic list by changing the selected forums. This view replaces the traditional list of categories and forums.   Of course, members only can change the view to better suit your way of browsing.   You will notice a “grid” option. We have moved the grid forum theme setting into the main forum settings. This makes it an option for members only to choose. This screenshot also shows the removal of the forum breadcrumb in fluid view mode. Fluid view remembers your last forum selection so you don’t lose your place when you go back to the listing. The benefit of this feature is easy to see. It removes a potential barrier of entry for members only. It puts the spotlight on topics themselves, and not the hierarchical forum structure. You as a member will enjoy viewing many forums at once and switching between them without leaving the page. We hope that fluid view, the new functionality is an asset that you enjoy .

Angles Pitcher Killed This Morning In Accident

Recommended Posts

Nick Adenhart, a rookie pitcher for the Los Angeles Angels, died in a hit-and-run car crash early Thursday morning, just hours after pitching in a game in Anaheim.

University of California, Irvine Medical Center spokesman John Murray said Adenhart died after undergoing surgery.

Adenhart, 22, was one of three people killed in the crash just after midnight local time, after pitching in a loss against the Oakland Athletics. He got a no-decision after six scoreless innings, giving up seven hits, striking out five and walking three in just his fourth major league start.

The driver of a minivan ran a red light in Fullerton and hit two cars, including one carrying Adenhart.

Police Lt. Craig Brower said the minivan driver fled the crash scene and was captured a short time later. The driver was arrested and booked for investigation of felony hit-and-run.

A fourth passenger was at the same hospital in critical condition.

According to the Los Angeles Times, two people were pronounced dead at the scene, and two were taken to Irvine Medical Center.

Adenhart, a 6-foot-3, 185-pounder from Silver Spring, Md., was a 14th-round pick in the 2004 draft, and made his major league debut on May 1, 2008.

He has spent most of his time since with Triple-A Salt Lake, but got his break this year with a good spring training and the fact the team needed help in the starting rotation, with John Lackey, Ervin Santana and Kelvim Escobar all starting on the disabled list.

Information from The Associated Press was used in this report.

it always happens that the person that ran the light or did the crime is always ok, but kills other people in the incident. Just not fair at all!

It was a 22 year old kid driving the mini van, and it was a hit and run. The driver of the van" suspended liscense and a previously DUI on his record.

They have also cancelled the game for tonight.

And blood alcohol was over the legal limit...yet he survived. What is the master plan? Sometimes you got to wonder!

nothing new, usually the hitter survives! Looks like he will be charged for hit and run felony, drunk driving and manslaughter.

He should be charged w/ driving w/out a license but w/ 3 counts of murder , they will drop that charge. Our famous former center fielder put it best, when he said , one never knows what will happen in life or when, make sure u kiss your spouse and kids and tell them you love them every day when you leave for the day..One day we may not come back alive.

    • I agree Bear...last yr was OK but not the improvement needed...and it is doom and gloom if you consider our accomplishments over the last 7/8 years and the horrendous cap space situation we are in...I will go out on a limb and say that Leo will stick to his word and consider "anything short of a Cup win this year as a failure" and I 100% agree with that statement and hopefully Fletch will be gone. Personally I would hope they would keep BB as I think he is as good or better a coach as we could find.   I would also bet as dismal as Bhawks are playing this season....they will win their 8th Cup before MN win's their 1st.
    • Anyone have knowledge of any fishing guides that guide on Red Cedar Lake near Birchwood during summer?
    •   Watched a ton of funny videos on the Tube of Diggs catch.  Interesting how many people know the name of "Oh My God" when that happened!
    • You have a week from today to get the MN permit in Jan.26th
    • Queens will win, go to Superbowl, then lose. You can bet on it.
    • Found one out of Ohio should be at the shop by Tuesday, the one from the big "A" wasn't the right one.    Thanks Folks.
    • I just make it ahead, then I have left overs... only one here so that makes it easier for me too....
    • What about last year BB? 2nd in the conference, it can't always just be doom and gloom. Ya we did nothing in the playoffs but it was a fun season. I'm still waiting for this team to figure out what they are this year, signs of breaking out and signs of not making the playoffs, hope they figure it out soon and pick a direction.
    • I'm a little nervous to watch the game.  My 4 year old daughter has taken an interesting in "the purple team" as she calls them and she's looking forward to watching the game with me this weekend.  I'm not sure I can keep my language clean enough for 4 year old ears if the vikings live up to their reputation.  If they win I'm sure I'll scare her when I jump off the couch and run around the house screaming.
    •   Well, I don't have that kind of time in the morning so pan fried will have to do.
