Wow what a great weekend to watch Golf. Very Exciting! I was rooting for Phil. obviously that ball in the water and then missing 2 short puts cost him the tourney.....

Yeah, I loved seeing Phil burn up the front nine but wondered if he could make it all the way. He and Tiger just left themselves a few strokes too much work to do for a Sunday at Augusta. Great spectator value, though.

Phil and/or Tiger would have had to play the back nine without a misstep to position themselves ahead of the leaders, and that's a mighty difficult assignment in that time and place, and after how well they did on the front nine.

Longtime sportswriter and novelist Dan Jenkins maintained that the tournament doesn't really start until the contenders hit the 10th hole on Sunday. A lot of truth to that.

When Cabrera pulled out a par on the first playoff hole after being in the trees, it was the Quack Heard Around The World. Best Masters I've seen in a long time. Great golf.
