the river in sartell

anyone ever fish it before. Just wondering how the bass fishing is up there later in the fall

i fished it when i was working up there and absolutely killed the smallmouth in mid september. numbers and size

i'm sure people that live up near there would have more info but i found it to be fantastic fishing and want to head up there more often this year

I fished just below the dam in St. Cloud all fall and hammered the Smallies every time

For some more specific info, check out the Mississippi--North forum...the guys there will give some great info.

That being said, I think you could catch a smallie in the river in the fall if you welded some treble hooks on a pop can and threw it out...they're hungry and dumb that time of year.
