Little Mud Rainbow Fishing Advice

Any suggestions for setup, bait/lures, depth... ect to try rainbows in the spring on Little Mud near Watkins?

Slip bobber and nigthcrawler or red worms. Rainbows tend to suspend like crappies, watch your locator.Or float a worm up from the bottom with a small marshmellow. cast mepps #0 or#1's in silver. have caught some 14" 16" rainbows and also a few 6& 7 lbs. there too. Just depends on what the DNR has to stock,as most stocked rainbows are caught the first year. Good luck.
