Portable Modification

I think I'm going to do something with my porty this offseason. Does anyone know of any places or businessess that would modify it? I just don't have the time to do it.

There use to be a product you could by called the "Ice House Organizer" - they had a HSOforum but It does not seem to be up anymore. You can try calling their number (763)428-5073. If they went out of business, maybe they still have some left over stock you could purchase.

It was a complete insert/mod that you dropped into your portable shack sled for keeping things organized.

Never heard of anyone willing to do such a thing.

Time can be a hard commodity to find at times- but for something like modifying a portable fish house, you can find the time to do it. --- Or, maybe you just don't want to do it??

It can be done in a day or weekend at best.

trouble with having some one else do it, is you may not like the end result, then you are either stuck with it or forced to redo yourself.

Yea, I agree, I would do it yourself. Took me a weekend of work on mine. Great thing to do between summer and winter fishing or vise versa.

There's a company called Northern Toboggan and Sled that does some cool stuff with portables and customizing them. Might get some pointers.
