Starting to put together my info for the goat hunt in montana, do you need bowhunter ed certif to bowhunt out there?

yes you do unless you become a resident and bring with you a archery tag from your previous state.

Are you planning on archery hunting? Thought you had decided to take the rifle the first time?

For archery I believe you do need the bowhunter ed.

first choice is gonna be rifle in zone 700 but my second choice is gonna be the 900 zone for archery, which means i gotta get my butt in a bowhunter ed class. Do you know when there are some in the next few months?

I will probably try and make the one in delano, just so i have the certificate. I thought you said you teach some of the classes, will you be at that one or is that to far for you?

We just did one just a few weeks ago. The ones I do in the summer are at a kids camp.
