New GPS

Question

I'm looking at replacing my old handheld with a new unit that accepts the map chip. I am considering the H2O C as my 1st choice currently and had a couple of questions.

The H2O is quite a bit less than the H2O C, is there any difference other than color and B/W? Is there a definite benefit to having the color.

Is there a different unit than the H2O C that you would recommend?

How long do the batteries last on the new units? My old one only gets about 4 hours on a set of batteries. Also can you get a wire to plug it into cig lighter?

I found the H2O C for $225 shipped, it that a good deal?

Thanks much,

Steve

I still have a b/w H2O that I got before the color ones came on the market, and I still use it. But I use the color ones more and that's what I would go with --- especially when using a map card, the color screen will be a big advantage.

The H2Oc and the Expedition are both good units. The Expedition gives you a few fetures you don't get with the H2Oc.

Battery life is good with these units, plus they come with a power cord for your cig lighter.
