GPS Units and power requirements

Quick question......does a GPS unit with an internal antenna (522C) draw more power than a unit with an external puck (520C)?

They should be almost identical, if not slightly less on the internal antennas.

I have never tested the draw but I would think that the units are the same. The external is active and needs it's own power but the internal is passive so I don't think it draws any more power out of the unit.

Maybe one of the ice fisherman that uses a 520 would know, both units can drain a 12volt 7 amp battery pretty quick and that might be a pretty good way to measure the draw. I could get 8 hours of use out of my 334c.
