buckhunter21
Just wondering if someone could help me out. Ive been looking into doing some whitetail hunting in Canada and was wondering if a non-resident needs to have a guide everywhere in Canada or are there areas that dont require it? I have always wanted to hunt there but cant really afford a guide. Thanks for any info.
superbee
There are both guided and unguided areas in Ontario for NR. The more popular unguided areas around Kenora and Dryden get lots of hunter pressure. The key is to find an area that does not have any convenient lodging available for lots of hunters. There are also restrictions where NR can camp. If you do your homework, you can get a good hunt for a trophy Canadian whitetail. We offer guided and unguided hunting packages in remote areas. Take a look at our HSOforum and if we can be of any help, let me know.
