LwnmwnMan2
I posted this last time about this time, but couldn't find the thread. For those that live on city streets, or major roads where there is a bunch of salt / sand dumped, you can get a power broom to sweep that back out into the street. There are a couple of versions, either a handheld version, or a walkbehind version. There are ones for skidsteers and tractors as well, but the ground is too soft for those. The handheld is a barrel broom on the end of a trimmer, basically. You run it through the grass and it pushes all the lose material back into the street. The walkbehind is a larger version. You'll want to do this fairly soon though, as most cities are sweeping earlier and earlier. I'd seen Lino Lakes out sweeping 2 weeks ago already.Even if your street is already swept, it's not that big of an issue to clean up what's left over with a scoop shovel and wheelbarrow, the hard part is getting the stuff out of your grass. You can check the local hardware stores / rental places to see if they have one.
