Pickelfarmer
Does thunder really brake up Ice on lakes? I was talking with my father tonight and he says that thunder will brake up the ice and make it unsafe. I told him that maybe the reason people say that, is because usually with thunder there is ALOT of rain and thats what screws up the ice. I don't know either way??? Whats your thoughts??? john.wells
I could see the potential. Thunder is a very powerful sound wave. I think that the rain associated with it is a bigger factor as you have stated.
