Lack of Bait

10 posts in this topic

Since the banning of out of state bait because of VHS. Most of the bait shops around the metro have ran out of shiners, as most already know

What would be the max price you would pay to get your hands on a dozen shiners for the end of the walleye season????

I know shiners are the cats meow, but I'd give that Berkley gulp a try instead.

shiners? i'm new to the forum, but i've only used shiners for pike on tip-ups... and recently dead shad seem to be outfishing shiners for me (oddly the anise scent) - are you after pike, or am I missing something?

We don't have them in the baitshops around here. I guess I'll have to live with these fatheads.
