gusdawgg01
While fishing out on French lake, years ago, I set the hook big time and right down the hole went a Colman double mantle latern. Watched it turn the vexilar green until it hit bottom. Tried snagging it, but no luck. We did bring a nice mess of fish home tho............... south_metro_fish
A nice LED lantern, and about $10 worth of jigs over the season. One night when I was packing up I forgot my box of jigs on the roof of my car and drove off never found them.
crothmeier
I'm thinking about making up a screen with a slot for the line in it, could still see the bobber, thats easily removed when needed for my permanent. Could save hundreds maybe thousands of dollars over a lifetime!!!
bustin lips
at least I'm not the only one who lost a nice lantern.
mrfish1991
dropped a full, unopened can of either DR Pepper or Fresca down the hole 5 or 6 years ago. many split shot have accidently rolled off of my legs down the holes.
HIGHLIFE2008
Cribbage board, a buddy dropped his cell down a hole. oh, and plenty of beer has gone down the hole in all the chaos of bringing up fish!

brahambaseball
First time out 5 years ago I lost a full, unopened can of Bud Light. My buddy and I spent the next few hours coming up with great Super Bowl commercials about it.Example:Call police, tell them your bud (instead of buddy) fell in the lake, they send a full search crew with divers, the crew comes up with full unopened can, and I smile and slam the beer... Hitman54
Two years ago, somewhere in the abyss of Red lake my son found out the hard way that his WWE action figures of "Tripple H" and "Batista" did not float! Maybe Kelly P has found them or the Red Lake seals ate them!
iceman16
i was on mille lacs this week and dropped the camera down to see what we were fishing over and found about a dozen cans,a deck of cards a curtian rod and a vex battery all under the house.iceman
Splake
The holes in a fishhouse seem to have magnetic powers over dice. If you miss them they leave the table, everyone just looks at each other and listens as they hit the heater or bucket then the floor and roll then silence. Everyone hopes it hits the edge but the sound is always the same. Kerploop.
fish-n-fool
dropped a can of campbells chucky chicken noodle soup (opened of course) Saved the can, but the noodles & all the fixins went down the hole. Had a whole pile of noodles under my hole. The white color of the noodles (or the smell) DO NOT attract any fish. The pile went straight down and stayed there in a blob. Scott Stein
Last year my g/f and I were out fishing in the porty. I went out to put a tip-up out and all of sudden i heard something slam on the floor of the house and hit the water. All at once she yells a bad word and starts yelling here phone went down! She said she watched it slowly float to the bottom. Man she was mad,she called her dad when we got home and he laughed at her!
