What would you guys use for strictly bass fishing. I have heard the humminbird is better for bass fishing because you can actually see the structue. But my only problem is reading it and understanding its imaging qualities. Whats your guys opinions?

Rip- You may want to post this in the bass forum..

I think either way, you will be happy as long as you get a quality unit. I fished with a Lowrance for many years and loved them.. Just last year I got a Bird.. The SI is awesome, but if your mostly a shore fisherman, probably not needed.. if you are an off shore dude, the Bird will save you a ton of time... only problem I have had, Its now so fun to just drive around and look for stuff, you spend less time fishing.. 8-)
