Mid-Lake Rock
Not on the ice...When we were little kids my mom took us to the beach for a day of sun and sand. My brother was about 3 or 4 years old at the time and told my mom he had to pee. My mom told him to go in the water. He walked in up to his knees, dropped his shorts and started peeing in front of everyone. One of those things we never let him forget almost 30 years later. nwwisco23
city lakes have recently been too full to even drop a knee - an empty powerade bottle in the portable seems to do the trick... (just dump it before you forget it's not full of beer)

bgreen82
gatorade or powerade bottles are best, such a wide opening
LindellProStaf
I usually have a pan to dip water out of the holes for minnow water and to warm water up to help keep holes open. I pee in the pan and then go out and empty it. Otherwise a 5 gal pail with double garbage bag in it works great.

prov1900
Remember, we all live downstream...P-ing is one thing, but the other one is disgusting if people are leaving it on the ice/water. That is why we don't live in a 3rd world country.
Big Buck Buster
I use the pail and the powder that you can get for camping. Do my duty in the pail, and sprinkle the powder in. Gets rid of the smell and absorbs the moisture from the urine. Toss the bag in the trash on the way home, or at home. I will never #2 on the ice. If my dog does, I will pick up after her, and put it in the same pail I use. I like to see a nice clean lake when I go diving in the summer months. You wouldn't believe all the trash on the bottom of the lakes that I and other divers see, and clean up. Disgusting.
prov1900
Everyone that says that they bag it and throw it in the nearest dumpster...I just had a funny vision of someone "dumpster diving" for treasure.
